His skills were soon recognized, leading to his first-class debut in the latter part of the 2015-16 Sheffield Shield season, where he made an impactful start with four wickets against Queensland. Andrews’ journey began earlier when he represented Northern Territory at the Under-17 and Under-19 National Championships. His debut in the Futures League came in 2012, representing South Australia, indicating his talent and potential. Notably, at the age of 16, he received an invitation to the Centre of Excellence in Brisbane, underlining his dedication and aptitude for the game.
