In 2016, Luus experienced a breakthrough year, establishing herself as a formidable bowling allrounder. During that remarkable year, she took 37 wickets, matching the record set by Anisa Mohammed. Luus also made headlines with a record-breaking 142-run partnership alongside Chloe Tryon. She further showcased her prowess in a One Day International against Ireland, achieving both a half-century and a five-wicket haul in a single game.
