Shemaine Campbelle marked her ODI and T20I debuts against South Africa in October 2009. Notably, her impressive bowling performance of 3-7 during her first T20I not only secured a victory for her team but also earned her the Player of the Match accolade. In 2012, at the age of 19, Campbelle took on the role of leading the West Indies team in a match against England, becoming the second-youngest captain in the format. She has consistently represented her side in all T20 World Cup events since the 2014 edition and was recently selected for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020.
