An exceptionally skilled spin bowler and batter, Rhiannon promises to inject a great deal of excitement into the Sixers squad in WBBL|01. Hailing from the NSW Breakers Academy, she made quite a splash during the 2013/14 season while playing for the ACT. Notably, she etched her name in the headlines by delivering an outstanding performance, claiming an incredible 6-14 against the Breakers in a WT20 Semi Final.
Rhiannon’s talents also earned her a place on the Australian XI team last year, where she featured in two T20 games against New Zealand. Throughout her cricketing journey, she successfully balanced the demands of the sport with her university commitments. In fact, she recently accomplished an impressive milestone by graduating from university with a Masters in Physiotherapy.
Furthermore, Rhiannon’s association with Bankstown Sports in club cricket has allowed her to share the field with fellow Sixers squad members Sarah Aley and Ashleigh Gardner, reinforcing her deep-rooted connections within the cricketing community.
