Omaima embarked on her cricketing journey at the age of 15 when she joined Karachi Under 19s and participated in the PCB National Under-19 Women’s Championship. Her hard work and dedication paid off as she made her ODI debut against Bangladesh in October 2018. Not long after, she earned her T20I cap against Australia in the same month.
As a top-order batswoman, Omaima displayed promise in her initial T20I performances, achieving scores of 25 and 43 against Australia, showcasing her potential. Her contributions led to her inclusion in Pakistan’s squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020.
