Nondumiso Mlaba has showcased her consistency as a performer since the age of 16, making a mark at the CSA National U19 Girls tournaments. Her remarkable skills did not go unnoticed, as she was chosen to represent South Africa in the School Side Tournaments in late December 2018.
In March 2018, Mlaba achieved a significant milestone by claiming the first five-wicket haul of the CSA National Women’s week in Bloemfontein. This outstanding performance caught the attention of the National Academy, opening up new opportunities on her cricket journey.
Mlaba’s dedication and hard work led to her T20 International debut for South Africa, which took place against India in September 2019. Her journey to the national team was further paved when she featured for the South African Emerging Players just two months before her T20I debut.
