In her T20I debut, Dar made an immediate impact, claiming two wickets in a closely contested match that Pakistan narrowly lost by just one run. During the 2018 Women’s Asia Cup T20 competition, the off-spinner achieved a remarkable milestone by registering figures of 5-21 in a game against Sri Lanka. This historic feat made her the first Pakistan woman to take a five-wicket haul in T20I cricket.
