Originally hailing from the picturesque Cox’s Bazar, a popular tourist destination, Mominul initially made his mark in the world of cricket by representing Bangladesh in Under-19 matches. He eventually earned his spot in the national one-day international team, debuting in late 2012. In his initial 20 ODI appearances, he showcased his batting prowess, accumulating three fifties, with his highest score reaching 60.
His introduction to Test cricket came in 2013 when he faced Sri Lanka, and his Test career has been highlighted by four centuries, with an impressive high score of 181.
