She claimed the top spot in wicket-taking in the women’s domestic T20 competition, an impressive feat with 22 wickets at an astonishingly low average of 12.59. Her remarkable talents did not go unnoticed, earning her a well-deserved place in the Australian squad during the same season. Her consistently economical and stellar performances indicated that she would be a strong contender for future selections in Australia’s cricket teams.
Despite missing the 2015-16 WNCL season due to an injury setback, Strano made a strong comeback during the inaugural season of the WBBL, representing the Renegades. Throughout the tournament, she managed to take an impressive tally of 18 wickets, further solidifying her reputation as a key player. Her outstanding contributions did not go unnoticed, as she was honored with the title of the Renegades’ most valuable player for WBBL|01.
