Banting’s journey in cricket began at a young age, and she made her State debut at just 14 years old in the Under 15s. Her remarkable performance during the 2012 Under-18 national titles, where she scored 86 runs, including a fine 26 in the fifth-place final against South Australia, showcased her potential.
Recognizing her talent and dedication, Banting was selected to be part of the Commonwealth Bank Shooting Stars squad in 2015. She had the opportunity to travel to Dubai with the squad and compete against an England Academy side, gaining valuable experience.
Additionally, Banting has taken her skills to the Women’s Big Bash League by signing with the Perth Scorchers. Her involvement in this premier T20 league further demonstrates her commitment to the sport and her bright future in cricket.
