Kris Britt, a formidable allrounder, embarked on her WNCL (Women’s National Cricket League) career in South Australia, where her outstanding performance led to her being named the Scorpions’ player of the season in 2006-07. She had the honor of representing the Southern Stars in a Test match against England in Sydney in 2003, and she also contributed to the team in 17 one-day internationals for Australia from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, she played two Twenty20 matches for the national team during 2007 and 2008.
In recognition of her exceptional year as the captain of ACT (Australian Capital Territory) in 2010-11, Kris Britt was awarded the WNCL Player of the Series. As one of the more seasoned players for the Meteors, she brings valuable experience to the team, which will be particularly beneficial to the younger members of the Meteors lineup for the 2015-16 season.
