Perkins established a highly successful domestic cricket career with the Auckland Hearts, where she played crucial roles in their victories in the National One-Day Competition in the 2011/12 season and the Twenty20 title in the 2013/14 season. Her elegance as a batter did not go unnoticed, and she earned her first international call-up in early 2012. During the tour of Australia, she made her debuts in Women’s One-Day Internationals (WODI) and Women’s Twenty20 Internationals (WT20I). Perkins has represented New Zealand in four Women’s T20 World Cups, including the 2020 edition, showcasing her dedication and commitment to international cricket.
