Caleb Jewell, a promising young wicketkeeper-batsman, earned a Rookie contract with Tasmania for the 2015-16 season on the back of his outstanding performances in state and national underage teams. Hailing from Guilford Young College, he emerged from the Cricket Tasmania Youth Pathway System and has proudly represented Tasmania in both the Under-17 and Under-19 categories. In mid-2015, he had the opportunity to travel to England as a part of Australia’s Under-19 squad for the ‘youth Ashes’.
